Terms of Service

1. What Fablecue does

Fablecue (“we”, “us”) makes product demo videos for web-based software. You give us a product URL and a short description; we use the product, write a script, record the screen, add motion graphics and a voiceover, and deliver the video. By submitting a request or making a purchase you agree to these terms.

2. The free first video

Your first video is free: one per user, up to 60 seconds. We deliver a watermarked preview on a private page. The page and preview expire 14 days after delivery unless you unlock the video. Until you unlock it, you owe nothing and the preview is for internal evaluation only, not for publishing.

3. Pricing and payment

Per-video work is billed at the published per-minute rate, in 30-second steps, with a one-minute minimum and a three-minute maximum per video. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and include the number of minutes stated on the pricing page. Unused subscription minutes roll over for one month and then expire. Extra sizes and languages are billed as add-ons at the published percentages. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.

Payment is due at unlock or, for subscriptions, at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and end at the close of the current period. Because the work is custom, fees for delivered videos are non-refundable once the final files are unlocked.

4. Revisions

A revision round is one consolidated batch of feedback. Per-video orders include three rounds; further rounds are billed at the published rate. Subscriptions include unlimited rounds within the scope of the original request. A new product, feature, or video is a new request.

5. Your product and access

You confirm you have the right to have the product recorded and shown. If a feature is behind a login, you may give us a demo account or invite link. We use it only to record the video, never share it, and stop using it when the video is delivered. Do not send us personal credentials, production customer data, or anything you are not permitted to show.

6. Ownership and licensing

Once a video is unlocked and paid for, you own it and may use it anywhere, for as long as you like. Until then, the preview remains ours. Music, icons, and stock elements are either licensed by us for commercial use or created by us, and are licensed to you as part of the video. Our production tools, templates, and process remain ours. We may show the finished video in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.

7. Turnaround

We aim to deliver the first version within 24 hours of a complete request. Times are targets, not guarantees; requests that need a login, arrive outside business hours, or involve unusual products may take longer, and we will tell you if so.

8. Acceptable use

We may decline or stop work on requests that are unlawful, deceptive, infringe someone else’s rights, or that we are not comfortable producing. If we decline before delivery, any prepaid amount for that video is refunded.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the video concerned in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
